Father’s Day is this Sunday and I just realized I hadn’t yet made a gift guide! Luckily I’m more organized in real life and have had my dad’s gift for weeks now. But, for those of you who have yet to get the dad(s) in your life something yet, this list will be extremely helpful. Though I recommend ordering on Amazon Prime or actually going into a store to ensure your gift arrives on time! Here are my last minute Father’s Day gift ideas:
A Barbecue Themed Gift Basket
If your dad loves to barbecue, this makes a great gift! You can find a basket and a lot of grilling essentials at the dollar store, so it won’t cost you a ton either. You can fill the basket with things like decorative napkins, barbecue utensils, a barbecue lighter, skewers, and an assortment of barbecue sauces and spices!
An Outdoor Speaker
If your dad spends a lot of time outside, an outdoor speaker would make a great gift! Make sure to look for one that is waterproof and has Bluetooth connectivity so it’s easy to use. Whether your dad is entertaining guests or lounging by the pool, he will love being able to listen to his favourite songs. You could even get him a subscription to Spotify premium so he can enjoy any song he wants without ads!
A Digital Tape Measure
I got this one for my dad and think it’s such a cool idea for the dad who loves tools but seemingly has everything. It works as a tape measure and laser pointer while giving you a digital read. As my dad’s eyesight starts to weaken, I think he’ll like not having to read every little tick on a traditional tape measure!
A Movie Themed Gift Basket
If your dad loves all things movies and TV, putting together a gift basket would be a really fun idea! Again, you could get a cheap basket at the dollar store and fill it with things like popcorn, popcorn bowls, an assortment of candy, and then you could either include some of his favourite DVDs, a subscription to Crave (or another streaming service), or even throw in some movie passes if movie theatres are opening near you soon!
A Gift Card
This is more of a gift idea if you’re in a pinch, but still a good one nonetheless. You could get one for your dad’s favourite hardware store, restaurant, or even the liquor store! As long as you put some thought into it, I think gift cards can make a great gift idea. Especially when you gift to someone who loves to shop!
Have you gotten your Father’s Day gift(s) yet?
