Today is National Pizza Party Day! And, since pizza is one of my all-time favourite foods, I thought it would be fun to share with you my recipe for english muffin pizzas. These take minutes to make and taste really good. They definitely satisfy a pizza craving and are budget friendly. Since I’m doing a no-takeout challenge this month, these little pizzas will help keep me on track without missing my favourite dinner!
My favourite thing about these english muffin pizzas is how easily you can customize them. Cole and I like very different things when it comes to pizza, so we are able to create ones that we’ll both enjoy. I like using dairy free cheese and fresh basil for mine whereas he likes cheese and pepperoni. They would be great too if you have a larger family as everyone can make their own!
All you have to do is slice however many english muffins you want to use in half and place them on a baking sheet. Next, spread a tablespoon or two of spaghetti sauce (we typically just use Ragu) onto each one and top with your favourite cheese, meat, or veggies. Then, bake them in the oven at 375ºF for 10 minutes!
They are so easy to make and are surprisingly tasty. Are you as pizza-obsessed as I am? Let me know if you plan on trying out this recipe! I’d love to hear what you like to top your pizza with.
