Mother’s Day is going to look very different this year. While I still talk to my mom daily, I’m sad I won’t be able to give her a big hug on Sunday! That being said, there are still things you can do to ensure your mom feels special this Mother’s Day while still keeping your distance. Here are 3 ways to celebrate Mother’s Day this year:
Plan a Social Distancing Visit
If you’re allowed to have a quick social distancing visit where you live, this is a great way to see your mom and remind her how much you love her. While it won’t be the same you can at least spend some time with her and that’s bound to make her smile!
Whether you’re able to social distance or not, this is a fun idea! At this point shipping might be delayed, but it will still be a nice surprise when it does arrive. You could order her favourite perfume, a new book, or even a coffee mug and mail it to her directly when you go to check out!
Phone Your Mom
If you can’t have a social distancing visit or live far away from your mom, give her a call! I promise this will make her day and is a really great excuse to connect. You could even have a FaceTime coffee date to make it a little more special!
